Bob Schlehuber is a peacebuilder, artist, and organizer who connects communities through art and strategic organizing. As the founder of Peacebuilding Connections, he has led projects in 90+ cities and 14 countries, using creative engagement to bridge divides and address social, political, and economic challenges.

With expertise in coalition-building, cross-cultural communication, and project management, Bob supports communities in identifying power imbalances, strengthening relationships, and fostering collective change. His work spans grassroots initiatives to global networks, earning recognition for its impact.

  • A Reflection on Isolation

    For three days, Bob lived in complete isolation, creating an interactive art experience that connected those impacted by isolation with those working to address it. The project fostered deep conversations and built unexpected relationships across communities.

  • #Justice4DJ Movement

    Bob organized broad and diverse groups to demand justice for DJ Broadus. The project connected local, state, and federal nonprofits, civic groups, families, government, and artists—mobilizing communities through town halls, marches, and bus tours to push for accountability.

  • Dugri: Israeli-Palestinian Rap Duo

    As US tour Manager for Dugri, an Israeli-Palestinian social venture, Bob facilitated concerts, workshops, and dialogue sessions. The tour brought together a diverse range of perspectives on the conflict, using music as a catalyst for meaningful conversation and connection.
